- Advertising Program
- A sponsorship program that makes your website’s premium content free to visitors through Interstitial and Pop-over ads for our toolbar.
- Gateway
- A term formerly used by the Pinball Publisher Network to define a customized ad that promotes our toolbar to your visitors before they access your site’s content. The Gateway is now known as an Interstitial or Pop-over ad in our Advertising Program.
- Install
- An install occurs when one of our toolbars is downloaded onto a new visitor’s computer.
- Interstitial
- Our Interstitial is a full-page ad promoting our toolbar. The Interstitial can be customized to match the look and feel of your website.
- Pay-per-install Program
- A program by which we pay our Web publishers each time one of our toolbars is successfully installed on a new machine.
- Payout
- The payment of earnings issued to a Web publisher within the Pinball Publisher Network.
- Pop-over
- Our Pop-over (formerly “POG”) is an 800x600 ad promoting our toolbar.
- Referral
- The act of recruiting a new Web publisher to the Pinball Publisher Network.
- User Consent Screen
- An informative disclosure page displayed to visitors when they are about to install one of our toolbars. The User Consent Screen requires users to confirm their desire to install a toolbar before the installation process can complete.
- Web Publisher Program
- A Web Publisher Program is a partnership between the Pinball Publisher Network and a webmaster. There are three publisher programs available through our Network that enable webmasters to monetize their Web traffic outside of the traditional contextual marketing and paid search programs: Content, Advertising and Referral.
